Blair Leah Hornstine is the Managing Attorney of Hornstine, Pelloni & Hornstine, LLC in our Philadelphia office. She graduated from William and Mary School of Law in May 2010. Prior to law school, Blair received her MA degree with Distinction from the University of St. Andrews in Scotland.

During her time in law school, she was active with the Special Education Advocacy Law Clinic and acted as an advocate for several families in Williamsburg, Virginia and the surrounding area. Prior to graduation, Blair interned with Justice Virginia Long of the New Jersey Supreme Court. She also completed an internship with the Department of Justice, Division of Civil Rights, Criminal Section, where she worked on cases dealing with color of law violations, hate crimes, and human and sex trafficking.

Following graduation, Blair worked as a Post-Graduate Fellow with the Department of Homeland Security, Office for Civil Rights and Civil Liberties. She researched issues regarding disability rights in employment as well as European laws regarding limits on religious expression. Additionally, she analyzed intelligence bulletins to ascertain which sections of the reports could potentially cause First Amendment concerns. This research was used to create training materials and training modules for law enforcement.

Before attending law school, Blair interned with Prof. Charles Ogletree and the Charles Hamilton Houston Institute at Harvard University. While working for Prof. Ogletree, she researched issues on the future of affirmative action on school busing programs, the impact of socio-economic factors on children’s mental and physical health, and the death penalty’s disproportionate application to racial minorities.

Blair is admitted to practice law in Pennsylvania.
